User Preference Management

This idea is to enable users to set personal preferences for things like email notifications. Today, all users receive an email notification once daily if they have new mail.

Would you like to receive that notification more or less frequently?

Would you like to receive it by text?

Would you like to have an alias or avatar?

What other preferences would you like to set?
