Original Addressee Improvement

This idea is to make it clear who a mail piece was originally addressed to. Currently, the recipient name is displayed in the "Addressed To' filed when a mail piece is delivered to an individual User. However, when a mail piece is delivered to a Team the Team Name is displayed in the 'Addressed To' field. Furthermore, if a mail piece is forwarded, the 'Addressed To' field is updated to "-> Forward Destination". This user experience can be confusing.

Consider a mail piece that is addressed as follows:

ATTN: John Smith

Accounting Department

123 Main St

City, State, Zip

If this mail piece was routed to John Smith, the 'Addressed To' field would display 'John Smith'. If this mail piece was routed to Accounting Dept, the 'Addressed To' field would display 'Accounting Dept' and John Smith would not be visible in the columns in the IDS Work Queue.

To improve this user experience, it is proposed that the 'Addressed To' field header would be changed to read 'Owner'. A new field called 'Addressed To' or 'Addressee' would be created.

In the use case above in the instance of routing to a Team, the fields would look like this:

Owner = Accounting Dept

Addressee = John Smith

If the mail piece was forwarded to Bea Weber, the fields would look like this:

Owner = -> Bea Weber

Addressee = John Smith

So, no matter what happens to this mail piece, users will always be able to see that the original addressee from the envelope was John Smith.
